The Boathouse Cafe
The Boathouse cafe near Bawdsey is a unique hideaway right at the mouth of the River Deben, on a
stretch of the Suffolk coast rich in history and wildlife.
The picturesque wooden building has a veranda with breathtakingly wide river views. The Boathouse cafe is
run by Diane Clouting, whose passion for home cooking and locally sourced food has made it into a favourite haven for Bawdsey regulars and visitors.
